lmao this is not new, MANY ppl on Home always put on a fake identity, thats y most women on Home are actually men (not talkin bout me cuz I got a mic & a cam so I got everything to prove who I am) & I really don't understand y ppl act so different on Home...maybe they hate themselves & wanna be sum1 that they can't be?

So agree when gamer about guys being girls happens all the time . They think it is funny. Well it is not. People are weird and act bad on home its a fanstacy to them . So I say just pay it no mind your true friends will be there forever. Anoyying you to death but there for u.

Yea it's true about this issue with people deceiving other's on PS Home about who they really are, and I have especially heard of cases with guys pretending to be girls for whatever reason just like Gamer said. And yes Rhonda, I agree that despite this going on, you don't need to pay them any attention and focus on your true friends. I also agree with EP that there are people who just think of PS Home as some kind of fantasy world where they can reinvent themselves and not necessarily be true to themselves. But I also agree that if you are having more serious relationships with the people that you are interacting with on PS Home, that you should be honest or else people will be hurt. No one likes to be deceived when they put trust in someone.

As for me, what you see from me is what you get. I will always be me and have no reason to be anyone else. I value trust as the most important moral. So I definitely don't believe in deceiving people in any shape or form. I like to have fun on PS Home and play online, but never with any kind of fake identity. I'm completely open about who I am and what I do. Anyone that knows me would tell you that. I have run into people who have questioned who I am and I just tell them to look me up and see for themselves, and if they don't want to believe that, it's their issue cuz I know who I am. I know there will always be haters tho, but they can move around. So keep it real yall.

HI ^_^ been a bit n such...well posted brother Mins. I go half n half on this..i mean yes it is a real person behing an avatar..but at the sametime isnt home a fanticy world of sorts..a way outta RL..some ppl will take it that way and there just having fun in hOME...but then ya got the certain kinds of ppl which i personaly put into 2 groups..first group be them Pevs..ya know the ones..dress like gurls and even stay as guys and just want virtuall lovin from someone Oo...2 are the ones i like to think are so detached and sorta fail at RL that they NEED to be someone/thing in home for some reason..they make me the saddest..but for personal reasons i wont put in here ^_^

Ive been in home long enough to know lots are here to make damm good friends(i have quite a few ^_^ ppl i consider family) through home..great..and have found tha ppl that can be yer friend for quite sometime can be just as wack as ppl you meet for the first time..so in the Virtual world ya have to kinda work things like RL..some ppl only care for themselves and its up to you to weed em out n such...iin my past ive done sum stupid things on here for sure..and have had some stupid things done to me..so i guess instead of just rambling on n on about how much ppl in home can sux just like in rl and sometimes more...ima say this..to each their own..and i agree be yaself its the only real thing youll ever really have in life ^_^ be you and be proud of who ya are..unless ya sux..then go hide life is good without ya..thanx for reading.

I'm gonna chime in on this as well.
I believe we can be who/what ever we choose to be. Whether it's in Home or the real world.
The trick is to be true to what you have created of/for yerself.
If ya want to be a member of the opposite sex in Home, by all means, please feel free. If yer as clumsy as a 12 toed wallaby with two left feet, but ya wanna be a stoned out sk8r dude or chick, that too is fine.
BUT...when ya start makin real friends out of the compilation of pixels that ya "hang around" with in Home, I believe that it's time to open up and spill the beans to yer new found friend. If they're really yer friend, then they'll still be yer friend. If not, only thing lost is the time invested. Move on and make a new friend, there's literally MILLIONS to choose from.
Myselves, I'm lucky. There are so many people in my head that I can always find at least one that fits well with any and every one I meet.
Honesty is still the best policy. Ya never have to remember which lie ya told to which person. Or if someone will compare notes with someone else. Be honest with yerself, and you'll find it easier to be honest with others.

Sometimes it's better to mask in order to protect self or the innocent. My world was once filled with total mayhem & chaos which only a few here would understand. I see where you are coming from weluv. Yes, we all are going thru things in life and can't expect everyone to be as open about it. I am quite open about what I got going on, but not everyone is like that. But yes, I think we should all strive to be ourselves. I recently submitted an article I wrote about being true to myself, both real and virtual. I am waiting for it to go thru editting. I dont' want to divulge the details of the article, but I think manyof you will find it interesting. Hopefully it will be published and soon
