The 1st time I remember hearing about Whitney Houston I was in elementary school and seen the Body Guard movie and she was in it and then i remember the soundtrack with the song "I Will Always Love You", that i remember hearing years later as one of her greatest hits. Later on, when i was in junior high i remember watching "Waiting to Exhale" and it was then I looked into her music more and learned more about her cuz she had been around for a bit by that time. She was a great woman and a talented artist and performer died at such a young age, only 48 Someone who has had such an impact on pop culture will truly be missed.

During the Grammy Awards tonight, Jennifer Hudson sang Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" beautifully and it gave me goosebumps and I cried a bit too. This was just one of many tributes to Whiteney Houston during the awards.
