Activision today issued an official statement in regards to the invalid DLC codes for the Playstation 3 version of their recently-released multiplatform video game, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.” The publisher revealed that the errors occurred because of heavy server load. They urged players to continue trying and they will eventually be able to download the DLC. You can check out some screens from the direct sequel to “Call of Duty: Black Ops" in the slideshow at the top of this article and the statement below (via Activision Support):
If you are trying to redeem a DLC code for Black Ops II on the PS3 and are receiving and error stating the code is invalid, please continue trying as their servers may be under heavy load. Your code should eventually be processed and your DLC will be authenticated.
