18 Hour PSN Maintenance Scheduled for Thurs, 2/2

Sony Europe’s confirmed that it will be hauling PlayStation Network offline on Thursday afternoon for maintenance.

The downtime will last from approximately 8:00 a.m. CST Thursday until 2:00 a.m. CST Friday, a total of 18 hours.

As usual, the PlayStation Store, Customer Account Management and Registration will all be affected by the maintenance, with PlayStation Home being completely unavailable.

Also, if you siign-in before the downtime and you’ll be able to continue gaming online (though the above services will still be unavailble), but sign-in after and you might be out of luck.

By the way, I didn't get this information from the PlayStation blog and so it is not official. So until I see it on there, maybe it's just a rumor.

I did see that it mentioned Europe, so maybe it doesn't apply to all regions? Anyone else hear anything about this?

I have seen this posted on other forum sites (e.g. PSHT, YSH) now and so I am under the impression that this will take place and for all regions.
